Welcome to Howden, the new name for Aston Lark

We are pleased to announce that Aston Lark is now part of Howden.

In April 2022, the Howden Group acquired the Aston Lark Europe Limited “Aston Lark” group of companies, creating an exciting business of considerable scale, reach, and influence, focused on great customer outcomes, service and care.

On 1 October 2023, Aston Lark along with existing Howden businesses, were brought together to form Howden UK & Ireland (Retail), united under the Howden brand. 

What does this mean for you?

For Aston Lark clients, rest assured that there will be no change to the way your insurances are managed, and you’ll continue to receive the same high level of service, via your usual contacts. Aston Lark phone numbers remain unchanged. And while email addresses are being updated, the current ones continue to be effective.

Howden and Aston Lark have already been working as one team for many months, and we’ve worked hard to ensure the transition to Howden is as smooth as possible.

Will the rebrand affect my policy?

The only difference you’ll see is the new name of Howden on our covering letters. Insurance policies will not change in any way.

Will I still be dealing with the same people?

Yes, there are no changes. You will be dealing with the same great team of people and receive the same excellent service you’ve come to expect from us.

Why is Aston Lark rebranding to Howden?

Aston Lark joined the Howden family just over one year ago and it now feels like the right time to take on the Howden name. While we take care of you under this new name, we remain true to our roots – caring for our communities with local teams, with local knowledge, their client focus matches our own and that’s why it’s a perfect home for Aston Lark.

Will I see the name of the company on my bank account change? Debit card, credit card and monthly payments?

Yes, payments will reflect our new Howden identity.

Will my local office still be available after the rebrand?

Absolutely, yes. We’re fully committed to our presence in our communities serving local people, locally. 

Will your contact details change?

You’ll be pleased to know that you can still contact the same people in the same way. Our email addresses will be automatically updated and won’t require any action from you.
